- A Crown of Life
The lesson discusses two significant crowns mentioned in the New Testament, centering on the crown Paul spoke of in 2 Tim 4: 6-8. The lesson contains a brief study of "crown" and what must be done for us to obtain that crown of righteousness Paul expected for himself.

Synopsis: This lesson deals with a doctrine that has worked its way from the denominational world into the church of Christ. Are these activities a part of worshipping God? The lesson explores the New Testament use of the words witness and testimony and what role they played in the establishment of the Word of God.
- Capitol Punishment
Synopsis: In depth study on the subject of Capital Punishment. The question "Does God Authorize Capital Punishment?" is explored and answered. Setting aside the emotional aspect of the subject, the Old and New Testaments are used to answer the question. God set civil and religious law in the Old Law and it included over 30 reasons for capital punishment. The passage "thou shalt not kill" is properly translated and examined. Does the New Law support civil governments today utilizing the death penalty to deter crime? We explore that issue as well.
- Dealing With Jehovah's Witness
Synopsis: Presenting a lesson on JW's and the false doctrines they teach would be impossible in a single lesson, especially when one presents the error of their doctrines and counters it with the truth. Also to go into all their prophecies they have made and proven false or they changed when they did not occur would take several lessons as well. Several lessons would be necessary to say the least. This lesson is designed to give us some tools to use when they knock on our door. It suggests what needs to be done to study with them and what area to address first in a study with them. It also discusses a few of the basic false doctrines they propagate in their teachings and the truth on the matter that almost every Christian can use and teach to them. These areas are the ones most Christian have been taught as first principles and should be able to teach ot others easily. What they teach about Jesus Christ, What they teach about the kingdom, What they teach about the world after the second coming, What they teach about eternity, What they teach about hell, What they teach on blood and immersion baptism , are addressed and answered with Scripture.

Lesson discusses sin and placing the "blame" on what causes sin to the correct party. Text for the lesson is James 1:13-17.

Synopsis: Explores Paul's comments in 2 Cor. about his discouragment. However he reminds us of three ways we can gain encouragment from God.

SYNOPSIS: This lesson is designed to get the listener to look past the great fish story in Jonah and see the deeper lessons that can be gleaned from this book. There are actually three main characters in this book - God, Jonah and the city of Nineveh (not the fish.) The heart of an entire city was changed by the message Jonah presented to them! How did this city change and what changed them is explored. What can we do to change our city?
- Lost
Synopsis: Lost is not a politicially correct word but it is a Bible concept taught by Christ and His apostles. what does it mean to be lost and how can we change that status in our lives. What can Christians do to help the lost is also discussed.
- Moral Courage
Lesson to develop the moral courage to do what is right by remembering God is who strengthens us. Uses Biblical examples of moral courage and cowardice.

Synopsis: This lesson explores the word peace as it is used in the New Testament. The lesson discusses what can destroy spiritual peace and what we can do to promote spiritual peace in ourselves and the congregation.
- Peter's Description of Jesus: Acts 2:22-36
Synopsis: Peter's recorded sermon in Acts 2 is surprising complete in its range. While the Bible does say the apsotles used many other words on that day, Luke's record of those words bring to us in 14 verses a dynamic, powerful lesson on Jesus Christ! Peter Decribes Jesus the man, the supernatural Christ, The man chosen by God, the Christ of the cross, the exalted Christ and then he shows us the effects this lesson had on the listeners.

Synopsis: Lesson is based on the evangelist Philip and how his attitude and techniques in preaching the gospel can be used today by individuals and congregations to effectively evangelize the lost.

In these lessons we deal with the words pride and proud and determine if a Christian can have a proper pride or be proud of themselves and others in their lives. The question "Is pride or being proud always condemned in the Bible?" is answered. Lesson One defines Pride and Proud by looking at the Greek words that are used and defines them properly and we look at how they are applied in Scripture. SYNOPSIS: Lessons centers on three reasons (out of many) for being baptized. The reasons are based on the command of God, Apostolic example and the results of being baptized.

- The Prayer Of Jabez: 2 Chron. 4:9-10
Synopsis: Deals with the short book written by Bruce Wilkinson on the Prayer of Jabez. Discusses the false doctrine taught in the book of making a "ritualistic" prayer daily to God to increase our finances and how a Christian should pray. Discusses who Jabez was and how his prayer is a good example of a short but faithful prayer to God and how God responded to that prayer and what truth we can learn from this example.
- The Pride Of Life: 1 John 2:15-16
Synopsis: Simple and "traditional lesson" on the "Pride of Life". Orignally designed to be a concluding lesson to Pride/Proud series. However, it can be used as a stand alone lesson that discusses 4 areas of what the pride of life does to mankind. It is included here to provide a short Bible based lesson for any who wish to add it to the two lesson series of Pride/Proud or let it stand alone as a simple lesson on pride. Uses several Bible passages to support what harm arrogant pride causes. Does not go into an in-depth study of the definitions of pride and proud. This is a lesson that can be taught in a short amount of time, 25 minutes or less depending on what ever additional Bible passages or personal comments included by the preacher are.

Synopsis: Lesson discusses the things in the Bible that were never intended to be eternal. Discusses the Old Law, The Apostles, Miracles, The Reign of Christ, The Earth, Man's Earthly Existance and Hades. Teaches to place emphasis on the eternal things of the Bible. Salvation.

This lesson examines three areas of our lives that salvation effects. Confidence, Confession and Commitment! This lesson is designed to help the young Christian develop these traits in their lives and lay aside the burdens placed on them by the world and sin.
- Three Types Of Persuasion
Synopsis: The Bible reveals there are three types of persuasion which one are you? (!) Those who are never persuaded.
(2) Those who are not fully persuaded.
(3) Those who are fully persuaded.
- Traveling The Extra Mile
SYNOPSIS: This lesson is designed to encourage Christians to do more than the minimum in serving God. It points out that God has done more than the minimum for us and Christ taught us to do more than the minimum in dealing with Him and our fellowman. We should do more than the minimum everyday of our lives.
- Uzziah: From King To Leper!
Synopsis: Uzziah went from the lofty heights of a king faithful to God to a leper --because of his pride. This lesson examines the epitaph he left behind. The lessons we learn from this king are:

- One can begin well but end poorly
- Success can be as hard to handle as failure
- Position never replaces faithfulness

Synopsis: Discusses the three states of examples:
- Commanded without specific example
- Commanded with specific example
- Not commanded but specific examples exist
Also discusses examples that are authoritative and examples that violate God's commands.
- Why You Should Be A Member Of The Church of Christ.
Synopsis: Lesson discusses why you should be a member of the Lord's church by using 7 different areas that will challenge someone to question their religious beliefs. What is taught in the Lord's church and why we baptize for the remission of sins is included. This lesson depends heavily on scripture to prove each point.
- Will Baptism Forgive An Unlawful Marriage?
Synopsis: This lessons deals with the false teaching of "baptism forgiving a marriage not authorized by God". It explores the teachings of Christ on marriage and uses the "law of repentance" to determne what is right to do in this situation. What does repentance require us to do? This lesson does not go into divorce and causes for divorce deeply it is geared toward teaching the truth on the false doctrine propogated by Homer Hailey and those that follow his teaching on this matter. It also discusses some arguments used by those who follow this teaching as truth.
- Work Out Your Own Salvation, Phil. 2:12-13
Synopsis: Paul reminds us our salvation is not automatic. Salvation is God's work not ours. Work out your salvation to full completetion!
